Everyone has that friend who plans rides in Google Maps and drops a link in the chat. Tarmac lets you import that link, clean it up and ride it as a group.
Step 1: get the directions link
In Google Maps, plan directions with a start, end and any stops, then use Share to copy the link.
Step 2: paste it into Tarmac
Tarmac reads documented Google Maps directions URLs and shows you a preview of the stops it found.
Step 3: make it a proper route
- Mark places you'll actually stop as stops.
- Mark towns you just pass through as via points.
- Add shaping points to force the route over the road you want.
Step 4: share and ride
Attach the route to your group. If someone insists on Google Maps, export the route leg by leg — Tarmac labels them honestly, like Leg 2 of 5, so nothing is silently dropped.
